Just released "Christmas In Kandahar" to radio across Canada yesterday.Written for the members Canadian and allied Armed Forces serving abroad (especially in Afghanistan).While you're doing your Christmas shopping-stop and think about these people and their famillies.
Still working on "V-Lone Wolf 5" for release in the spring of 2011 and "Lone Wolf 6" for release later in 2011 as well as two "Best Of" and one "Live" double cds for release in 2011/2012.

Three new videos- How I spent my summer.
Hello everyone,
if you go to youtube and punch E. Frank Murphy in to your search engine you will see how I spent my summer, I have released three new videos since July.
Also released to radio stations across Canada on Nov. 2 was my new single "We Dared The Lightning" written by Vanessa Hill.
Hope you are all prepared for winter. I will be working on two new cds - "Lone Wolf 5" due out in early 2011 and "Lone Wolf 6" due out later in the year.Also will aiming for a fall release of "Best of E. Frank Murphy- Vol.1 and Vol.2" to be released in late 2011 and 2012.

V- Lone Wolf 5
Hello everyone
Just a note to let you all know that my newest cd " V- Lone Wolf 5" will be recorded and released in late October.
My " The Pack- Best of E. Frank Murphy" cd has been pushed back to late spring-2011.
The videos for "He Never Came Home"," Les Acadiens,Les Metis and Me" are already on YouTube and "The Wolf Will Not Survive" video is due out this month.
Thank you to all the music programers for playing "Les Acadiens, Les Metis and Me" on stations from coast to coast.

Second single release
My new single, the follow up to "Nashville Just Wrote Another Song", will be released to Canadian radio on June 7th.
Titled "He Never Came Home" from the new "Silvertip- Lone Wolf IV" cd by E. Frank Murphy.
It was written by Eldon Surette and is dedicated to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces and NATO forces who are serving in war zones around the world.
I hope to have a video on youtube within a week or so of the single hitting the air.
Two new double cds planned for fall release- "E. Frank Murphy-Live At The Drake-Vol.2" and "The Pack-Best Of E.Frank Murphy-Lone Wolf V & VI".

First single released in the Maritimes
Hello again
My new cd "Silvertip (Lone Wolf 4)" will be released next week. I know "Lone Wolf 3" was supposed to be the last lone wolf cd but it seems that there is a growing demand on the internet for more of them so I guess I'll release a few more.
I have just released my first single in the Maritimes. The song is "Nashville Just Wrote Another Cheatin' Song by E. Frank Murphy". It was released through Spincount, a Nova Scotia promotions company, and is the first in a list of single releases to come, hopefully leading to a tour of the Maritimes in Oct.The song is from "Lone Wolf 1" and was originally done by an Alberta band called the "Midnight Rodeo Band" in the eighties.I ask you to call your local country station andf request it be played. Some radio music programmers are pretty pompous and think they have a God given right to dictate what is played on the air- but none of them can resist public pressure.

Silvertip
Hello again.
I am back in the studio on Feb.15th to finish the last five tracks for "Silvertip". The new cd will include four cover tunes and six original tunes. The cover tunes were originally done by Toby Keith (2), the Bellamy Brothers (1),the Powder Blues Band (Canadian content) (1).
I'm hoping to get " the Wolf Pack- Best of E. Frank Murphy" a double disc set , out this summer.
Have a good winter and remember to give Haiti a helping hand, theirs is an ongoing hardship.
